Kath Johnson Logo

Based in Aberystwyth, Kath Johnson is the friendly local solution to all of your accounting needs.

Services provided include the following:

Accounts

Accounts are prepared in accordance with statutory requirements from your computerised or manual book-keeping records. Kath is conversant with most computerised packages including Sage, Quick books, VT or Excel adapted systems. For Limited Companies, accounts are produced in iXBRL format for electronic submission to HM Revenue & Customs.

Self Assessment and Tax Returns

Kath works hard to make sure that all Corporation and Individual Tax Returns are submitted to HM Revenue and Customs on time. In completing your tax returns, tax liabilities are calculated and you will be informed of how much to pay and when you need to make payments. As well as completing the forms, tax planning opportunities are always considered to minimise liabilities.

Payroll

Payroll services can be provided on your behalf, or backup support can be given for your own system, including advice on statutory sick pay, maternity pay, starters, leavers and end of year procedures etc.

Book-keeping

Every business needs to keep a record of its activities. Support can be provided in choosing a suitable book-keeping system, whether manual or computerised. Alternatively, as part of the Vat return procedure, a book-keeping service can be provided on your behalf.

VAT

As well as preparing Vat returns on your behalf, advice is provided on Vat registration or de-registration, the most appropriate scheme for your business, record keeping requirements and compliance.

Company secretarial

Limited Companies have extra statutory administrative duties. Kath Johnson can assist Limited Companies to fulfil these duties through the provision of Company Secretarial support, including company formation or dissolution, writing up minutes of meetings, completing forms for Companies House, preparing annual returns, completing statutory accounts and generally ensuring compliance with the Companies Act 2006.
